Star Wars: Episode 1 in 3D
|
3D cannot save this from being the second
to the worst in the Star Wars saga. I truly
could not stand this movie. Kids however
will probably enjoy the movie and the new
age agena will probably go right over there
heads.

Chronicle
|
Quick Take: If you enjoyed the TV Show
Heroes before it went down hill, you will
most likely like Chronicle. Sadly the movie
has far too much foul language and foul
content for a PG-13 movie. I would
probably have the teens shy away from this
one. Well acted, great script and
interestingly filmed. Most of this movie is
done through the eyes of people's video
cameras.

One for the Money
|
Quick Take: The story of a female bounty
hunter without experience, falls back in love
with the person she is after. Some dirty
jokes, lots of bra scenes and some bad
language. The first half of the movie was
absolutely horrible, the second half was
pretty good. Older Teens (Maybe) OK.
Parents should screen this one first before
letting kids watch.

Beauty and the Beast: 3D

Quick Take: Still the greatest date movie of
all time and the greatest cartoon ever
made. Great for kids and adults a like.

The Grey
|
Quick Take: Over 125 F Words and Lots
of Gore. I have not seen this movie but the
reviews are great despite the very R rated
content. Not for kids or teens.

Underworld 4
|
Quick Take: Lots of gore and violence and
bad language. Enjoyable movie with lots of
action, but certainly not for kids and teens.
This movie plays out much like Resident
Evil.

|
Quick Take: Pro Christian Subplot and
Great Values. Lots of war violence and very
little bad language. 13 OK.

Haywire
|
Quick Take: Do not be deceived by the
trailer, this movie is really quite boring. Bad
action scenes, boring pace and pretty
dumb storyline. Lots of violence, no sex or
nudity and very little bad language for an R
rated movie. Might be 13 approved.

Quick Take: Slow paced Marky Mark movie
with an extremely predictable plot about an
ex-con who must do "on last job" in order to
save his family. 112 F Words, Lots of
language, violence and sexual references.

We have not seen this movie, however the
buzz about this movie is terrible. Complete
bomb at the box office

War Horse
|
This movie is meant to suck every last tear
out of your brain intending to leave an
emotional wreck when you leave the
theater. Great acting, solid plot and very
well done movie.
No, the horse does not die in the end.

One of the best movies of the year and
teen friendly. Incredible action movie with
unbelievable special effects. NO sex or
nudity, and not a lot of bad language.

|
Kids will enjoy this movie, but adults will
want to run. The first Alvin was excellent
the 2nd was terrible and this one is just not
good. Clean and kid friendly.

Better than the first with a lot more wit and
character development. The trailer for this
movie however is very bad, so ignore the
previews. They do push the "bromance"
level to the extreme which might offend
some and there are some off color jokes.
