Garfield is by far one of the dumbest movies of the year. This is not the story of the
Prince and the Pauper being promoted, but more the story of the Prisoner of Zenda.
Garfield is back and this time he is going to England. Garfield is mistaken for the
would-be assassinated heir to a huge castle in England, but with a conspiracy to
overthrow his empire, Garfield must save the day while the other cat is missing.
This movie is so dumb and so pathetic I have a hard time even seeing how kids can
like it. I almost fell asleep and really wanted to leave, but that would probably have
created a CATastrophe with the people I was with. (I am ashamed to say that I
actually paid money for this movie, because I missed the pre-screening.)
The humor was terribly dumb and the plot was pathetic. This is one of the rare
reviews that I really do not have much to say. This movie simply sucks and will
probably bore you to death.
Is this movie for kids? Yeah, it’s probably fine. It has some raunchy humor but it will
probably go straight over the kid’s heads. There is a little bad language, but not
much. I’m sure that kids will love seeing this fur ball running around dancing but if I
have to watch Garfield shake his butt one more time I think I’ll probably die!
